Cody, 27, was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. As a former college athlete, he learned the underlying principles of balance and time management; both factors that would transfer to a career field for life after sports. “As a college athlete, one must not only balance their academic life, social life, family time, possible work life, but also around 40-50 hours per week dedicated to their sport,” says Cody. “There’s no secret that being a college student-athlete is hard work and takes outstanding time management and balancing skills, but along with that hard work comes many positive benefits and potential life changing opportunities.”
After graduating from Illinois State University with his Marketing/Communications degree, Cody moved back to ABQ to take over the operations of his family business. Years later, he decided to start a new life path and made the move to JUMA Homes to partner up and work for his cousin Justin, and Justin’s better half Marissa. As the Director of Marketing, he manages the marketing strategy for JUMA; directing and overseeing marketing activities, advertising, and creative design. When not making magic happen at his desk, Cody enjoys playing golf, hiking, traveling, attending sporting events, and spending quality time with his friends and family.
